Dashboards

A dashboard is a saved collection of chart artifacts you can re-run together. Each item references the original question and connection, so refreshes execute the same plan.

Creating a dashboard

Run a query that produces a chart.
From the chart’s overflow menu, choose Add to dashboard.
Pick an existing dashboard or create a new one.

You can also do this in chat: after a chart appears, ask something like “add this to my Sales dashboard” or “make a dashboard from this” and the assistant will create/add it for you.

Layout & reordering

Dashboards support drag-to-reorder. Grab the grip handle on the left of any chart card to move it. The grip is faintly visible by default and lights up on hover. There’s also a chevron up/down menu for keyboard users.

You can switch the grid between 1, 2, and 3 columns. The setting is per-user (stored in localStorage).

Refreshing

Refresh all at the top of the dashboard re-runs every chart sequentially.
Refresh one on each card re-runs that chart only.

Refreshes re-run the original SQL/KQL query and rebuild the chart from its stored spec — no model call needed. If the underlying data has changed, the chart updates.

Card titles

Each card is headed by the chart’s own title. If a chart has no title, the card falls back to the question that produced it. Charts keep the title and axis labels they had when you pinned them, so a refresh won’t revert your wording.

Editing a chart’s title & labels

Click the pencil icon on any dashboard card to edit that item’s chart title, axis labels, and legend visibility, with a live preview. Changes are saved as Vega-Lite style overrides on that dashboard item only — the original chart in the conversation is untouched.

The fields open with the chart’s current text, so you edit rather than retype.
Clearing a field hides that label.
Reset puts the chart’s own labels back.

For the fuller set of controls — palette, fonts, spacing, grid, chart-type options — use the Style editor on the chart in the chat, then pin it.

Errors on a dashboard item

If a refresh fails, the card shows an error badge with the message. The most common causes are:

Connection failing (test from the sidebar).
Schema drift — a column the original query referenced was renamed or dropped.

In the schema-drift case, edit the original question (open the chart, “View original run”, edit, re-pin).
